Murus

Carvel Creative approached me with an innovative metal fabrication capability, seeking to transform their side-hustle technical expertise into a distinctive brand. Initially they named their product "Smoke Screens" which I found missed the mark. From this collaboration, Murus was born—a custom architectural panel system offering precision-cut and specialty-coated metal surfaces.

The comprehensive brand development included naming, visual identity, motion graphics, and a dynamic e-commerce platform.

For the motion graphics, I approached collaborator Olaf Blomerus (BLMRS) to create an atmospheric art film showcasing Murus screens set against the backdrop of surreal Alberta-inspired landscapes.

The website featured an intuitive customization interface where architects and designers can specify panel dimensions and patterns, streamlining the ordering process from concept to fabrication.
